Legendary Marina & Yacht Club Gulf Shores is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jeremy Holcomb as the new General Manager. Jeremy brings a wealth of experience, a deep passion for the maritime industry, and a commitment to elevating the level of hospitality and operations in marinas.
A proud native of the Emerald Coast, Jeremy has spent his entire life surrounded by the beauty and opportunities the region has to offer. With a loving wife of 31 years, Karen, and three amazing children, Austin, Gav, and Belle, Jeremy's family has been deeply rooted in the marina industry. His children, having grown up working in marinas from their teen years through adulthood, share in his love for the water.
Jeremy's maritime journey began as a teen dock attendant on Ben Marler's famous Emmanuel Docks in Destin, FL. Over the years, he earned his Masters License and operated a 49-passenger vessel from the same dock until his late 20s. As his career progressed, Jeremy went on to manage private yachts, contributing to the improvement of hospitality and operations in marinas across the nation.
In 2004, Jeremy joined the Legendary Marina Team and was the VP of Operations and GM for 15 years, operating out of the Destin dry stack marina. His dedication and leadership have been instrumental in shaping Legendary Marina into the esteemed establishment it is today.
We are excited to see Jeremy take on a new challenge as he launches and operates our state-of-the-art marina in Gulf Shores. His expertise and passion for the industry, combined with the cutting-edge technology, service, and capacity of our facility, will undoubtedly contribute to an exceptional experience for our members and guests.
